Q2. What standards does SMS follow?

As a company SMS Analytical is certified to ISO9001:2015. Our USP is specialist chemistry knowledge and solving the difficult analysis that others don’t do, rather than being a routine ISO17025 type of laboratory which mostly offer no flexibility in methodology or interpretation. Therefore we base our in-house methods on existing published ones where they exist (e.g. ASTM E1388/E1618 HS GC-MS ) or develop ones ourselves for the particular sample presentation and matrices in question. This is particularly appropriate for the wide variety of problems we are asked to help with by insurance investigators and the legal profession.
